Oh God, my heart cries out to you today. Your love fills me with wonder and joy. Only You know that which I'm carrying in my heart, the joys, the pains, the unfinished stories. Your Grace pours over me like a soft summer rain starting at the top of my head and flowing over me until I'm covered in glory...your glory. It washes me clean, pure as if there were never an impatient look, a snappy tone in my voice, a cold shoulder to be turned. Only your grace can do that, Lord...wash it all away and make me clean again. I stand before you, arms outstretched, receiving the cleansing rain from your heart to mine. It floods my soul and fills me up leaving me enough grace to get by until our next communion.
From His Lap,
My heart's desire is for you to realize how valuable and precious you are, to know that you are a dream of God come true. While raising six children, I have had to depend on the Lord to give me certain nuggets of truth and insights into being a child of God. I would love to share these nuggets with you, hopefully bringing you closer to Him and a life filled with joy and peace.
