Walking through my neighborhood today, I wondered if, due to the record breaking heat we suffered all summer long, the leaves might not change to the vibrant colors we are used to every fall. It won't be the same if we don't get to watch the splendor of the seasons change this year. I thought I would give you a small taste of what our neighborhood looks like every autumn. Maybe it will give you a taste of things to come in "your neck of the woods" this fall.
I know that there are some sections of the country that don't get to experience the dramatic season changes that we enjoy here. But we treasure it. When I look at all of these colors, I don't see how you couldn't acknowledge God and His creation; just like when I witness a rainbow, or see a great waterfall or majestic mountains. God's creation is for our pleasure and His. I hope that you will enjoy looking at these photos from my very own neighborhood!
I hope that you thoroughly enjoyed these pictures as much as I do! I hope that you get to experience a brilliant fall.
From His Lap,
Fascinated ... red trees.

Wow. You guys get some great color. I grew up in New England and really miss the amazing color changes. We get color here, but not the same variety and vibrance. I love that God made such a beautiful world.
ReplyDeleteLori,

ReplyDeleteHi Erin - we've just gone into spring so loving the lush greens but when the leaves change in autumn, I think its the most beautiful time. How can anyone question whether there is a God?

ReplyDeleteI came to visit you from vb. I LOVE your pictures. Fall is ABSOLUTELY my favorite season. I love everything about it - except maybe for the fact that it always seems to fly by so quickly!
Enjoy the season! :)

Erin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for becoming a follower on Manifest Blog.
My wife and I moved south to a place that doesn't have seasons, so your pictures are a beautiful reminder of what fall looks like. Thank you for sharing.
I enjoy your blog, Stephen. I tried to leave a comment for you today, but it wouldn't let me. I'll post more fall pics later and you can enjoy them, since you don't get the seasons where you live!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
~Erin
Great photos. Fall is the best time of the year.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you at, Erin? I, too, have wondered whether or not our trees are going to change colors. It's still pretty green here, but a few days ago, I noticed the red peppering of the mountain side near my house. I'm thrilled. Last year was so beautiful, and it was such a long fall. We were very blessed with colors then. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteHere from VB and as always, loving your beautiful blog.

I love fall and the beautiful leaves. They aren't nearly as spectacular where I live now as when I was a child, but I'll take what I can get. Beautiful pictures!

I can't remember seeing a red tree in real life... The southern California desert doesn't really make for a colorful fall. Thanks for sharing the pictures! They're prettyful! =)
